American Twisters Honored as USA Gymnastics Florida’s 2022 Club of the Year

Competitive season for Team Twisters has come to a close for 2022 and Twisters is beyond proud of all of our gymnasts, coaches, staff and families for our shared successes this year.

We see the day-to-day grind in the gym. We see the blood, sweat and tears our team gymnasts put into their training. We see the long hours, late nights and meetings that our coaches put in each and every week. We see the sacrifices our Twisters parents make and the loving dedication they show for their gymnasts. For this, we celebrate this season’s wins, smiles, personal bests and successes.

This award for our gym means so much because it isn’t just a title. The results of this season are a testament to our team gymnasts’ and coaches’ hard work, commitment, perseverance and true grit. We are proof that when you work hard and love what you do, success will follow you.

We are honored that USA Gymnastics Florida has awarded Twisters with Florida Club of the Year for 2022, and we celebrate it together with our Twisters gymnasts and families.

I can’t thank everyone enough who put their time and energy into this season and this team. We are nothing without our village. From the parents, to the coaches, to the gymnasts, to our Sports Psychologist, our team doctor, and our therapists at Barwis Physical Therapy, the front desk staff, the amazing owner  and organization. THANK YOU!

“We had such a huge weekend! Our level 8’s also took 1st place team and all of them qualified for Regionals with 2 on the State team! Our level 7’s took 3rd as a team in one of the hardest levels to place in the top 3. All girls qualified to regionals! Our level 9’s were simply amazing and also took 3rd in one of the closest top 3 scores! We were within .075 from 1st place! All level 9’s qualified to Regionals also! The weekend was simply amazing. I’m still on cloud 9 and just so proud of all the work everyone put in to get here. On to Regionals!!!”
