Happy end-of-summer from your friends at Twisters! Camps are wrapping up soon, parents are checking off school supply lists and kids are getting ready to get back into the swing of fall classes, both at school and at the gym. That also means that competitive gymnastics season is around the corner!
This past year has been a successful, exciting and transformative year for Team Twisters. We have so much to be proud of and so many gymnasts to celebrate. Their hard work day in and day out in the gym and the commitment of our coaches really shined bright this past competitive season, marking some major accomplishments that we would like to highlight.

-Jahzara Ranger, a two-time NL Cup qualifier – 1st place vault

-Level 10 – 1st place all events & all-around, 2nd place team
-Level 9 – 1st place (multiple) on all events & all-around, 2nd place team
-Level 8 – 1st place (multiple) on all events & all-around, 3rd place team
-Level 7 – 1st place all events & all-around
-Level 6 – 1st place vault, bars, floor & all-around

WOW – what a stats sheet! From multiple Nastia Liukin qualifiers to college scholarship signees, to champions at the local, state, regional and national levels… Team Twisters has so much to be proud of, and even more to look forward to as we head into the new season this year. We’re taking our team gymnasts to new heights!
You may have noticed a name change, too. American Twisters in Coconut Creek and Twister Gymnastics of Boca Raton have joined forces into one unstoppable team… TEAM TWISTERS! Our staff worked tirelessly to plan, strategize, navigate and implement this major operational change. With the logistical guidance of Twisters leadership and the dedication and flexibility of our Twisters coaching staff, we are SO proud of the work that was done to achieve this longtime goal of unifying our teams.
As of now…
OPTIONAL LEVEL GYMNASTS work out exclusively at our COCONUT CREEK location – American Twisters.
XCEL GYMNASTS work out at both locations – Twister Gymnastics Boca Raton and American Twisters in Coconut Creek. Xcel gymnasts work out with the same coaches at each location.
Team Twisters is no longer competing in the compulsory program. All gymnasts who previously competed Compulsory will compete in the XCEL Program in the 2024-2025 competitive season.
United as Team Twisters, we’re excited to take on the challenges that this upcoming season will bring, and to make our Twisters family proud.
Congratulations to all of last season’s competitive gymnasts. WELCOME to the new Xcel team gymnasts this year, and good luck to ALL of our Team Twisters gymnasts and coaches at the upcoming meets. We’re all freshly inspired by watching Team USA’s Olympic gymnasts dominate on the world stage. Let’s go out there and watch our Team Twisters gymnasts work to bring their dreams to life!
