Team Twisters Village
AT TWISTERS, WE BELIEVE “IT TAKES A VILLAGE”
American Twisters truly believes that it takes a village to raise an exceptional gymnast. There are so many facets and factors that go into the growth and development of a college scholarship and elite gymnast that Twisters has established a “village” of people to help. Below you will find information on the PEOPLE and the PROGRAMS that are all part of the all-inclusive Team Twisters Program.
The Barwis Method Program Partnership
“American Twisters, exploring opportunities to enhance the training and recovery efforts to its athletes, established a comprehensive relationship with BARWIS. BARWIS, the world’s leader in human performance enhancement, has worked with thousands of professional and Olympic athletes, Fortune 500 companies, government organizations, and health care and insurance companies.
BARWIS provides services for training in sports performance, physical therapy, athletic training, physical education protocols, nutritional protocols, and Neurological Reengineering for people with disabilities, helping individuals of all ages and abilities achieve their maximum potential. A Twisters-BARWIS partnership integrates cutting-edge, scientific techniques in performance enhancement into all aspects of training and rehabilitation for the elite and novice athletes of Twisters.
With many options for levels of services, a fully integrated Powered By BARWIS program provides a holistic approach to athlete development while intensifying the attraction to train within the Twisters system.”
